Spiced Apple Walnut Cake


1 cup All Purpose Gluten-Free Flour

1 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Nutmeg

1/8 tsp Ground Allspice

3/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce

1/4 cup Maple Syrup

1/4 cup Coconut Oil (melted)

1/4 cup Walnuts (chopped)

1/4 cup Raisins


  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and line a cake pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Then add the applesauce, maple syrup, and coconut oil.

  3. Fold in the walnuts and raisins. Transfer the batter to the cake pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Top with chopped walnuts and enjoy!
